My name is Yvonne Hannah and I'm the heart shaped shades loving Yvonne Hannah Celebrant!
I am a humanist celebrant and Marriage Officer authorised by
Fuze Ceremonies and the Fuze Foundation under the Marriage (Scotland) Act 1977.
Through these organisations I have full authorisation to marry you absolutely anywhere in Scotland as long as it is safe and dignified.
When I turned 40 I fell in love with wedding ceremonies after my husband Allan and I enjoyed our Humanist wedding ceremony at Crieff Hydro on 21st May 2016. We were married by a Fuze Ceremonies Celebrant, and from that moment on I just knew that becoming a celebrant was what I wanted to do.
How did I become a humanist celebrant?
I signed up for the SQA certified UKCAPSA Celebrant and Public Speaking Diploma in 2020 and studied over six months. I qualified as a fully fledged professional celebrant in early 2021, interviewed with Fuze Ceremonies, successfully joined the team, conducted my first ever legal humanist wedding ceremony at Pratis Barns, Leven in October that same year and I have never looked back!
Why do I do What I do?
I love everything to do with celebrating the big milestones in life. I get to meet so many different people. No story is ever the same, every single one is unique and boy do you have some epic tales to tell!
Creating unique humanist ceremonies for weddings, civil partnerships, wedding vow renewals, funerals and baby naming ceremonies is a pure joy and I always go that extra mile to make sure that every ceremony is special, being there for and guiding you along the way with lots of ideas and suggestions.
What Makes me Me?
I am a fun loving, quirky character, but don't worry I can do serious too! For me, what I do is so much more than just a job, it's a pleasure, and something I picture myself doing for years to come - I honestly couldn't imagine doing anything else. Being a humanist celebrant with Fuze Ceremonies and The Fuze Foundation is where is at for me!
I'm also a furball mum, with my two cocker spaniel girls Skye and Ember and I am obsessed with Scotland’s beautiful coast, my husband and I try to get to the Highlands, Inner and Outer Hebrides at least once a year. We have a great circle or friends and love to get together for some crazy, fun shenanigans!
